Broad Street Thrift Mart was opened on March 14, 2005, and is operated by the Sumter County Developmental Disabilities Foundation.  This is an non-profit effort, with proceeds benefiting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental retardation, autism, head and spinal cord injuries and related lifelong disabilities.

The thrift store sells gently used clothing, books, toys, furniture, household items, etc. We are in need of your donations and are accepting yard sale leftovers and/or items you just no longer need.  Please drop off your tax deductible donations between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.  Please call to make arrangements for the pick-up of large quantities of items or furniture and appliances.
